We are looking for a visionary Director, Original Content to build Nothing’s Youtube channel. The successful candidate will have the creative vision to bring Nothing alive in video format and the strategic know-how to ensure it captures the attention of a growing audience. This role would suit someone who is comfortable with developing a unique tone of voice but also generating out-of-the-box ideas that will resonate with a wide range of viewers.

Responsibilities:

  • Ultimate responsibility for the success of all original content of a YouTube channel, working closely with the broader marketing, product, and regional teams to ensure the content encapsulates the Nothing world vision;

  • Define and implement the YouTube channel content strategy;
  • Grow the YouTube channel audience and cultivate its unique tone and voice;
  • Keep up to date with new technical and creative developments on YouTube and stay on top of the latest social and viral trends;
  • Oversee post-production to successfully deliver the original content strategy.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of running a YouTube channel and able to demonstrate significant growth in audience over time;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, to be able to get buy-in from stakeholders within the company;
  • Expert knowledge of video pre-production, production and post-production workflows;
  • Creative thinker that can bring in innovative ideas;
  • Interest in consumer-facing lifestyle brands and the startup industry;
